During the day
re-hydrate beef and
vegetables. Do not re-hydrate bacon.
Bring 2 ½ cups of water to boil.
Add all ingredients, bring to boil and cook for 20 minutes. Stir
frequently to prevent food from burning.
*This quantity is based on using Oscar Meyer® "real bacon bits"
(Optional) After bringing all
ingredients to boil, drop spoonfuls of dumpling mix in to the
stew and cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover and cook for 10
more minutes (Do NOT lift the lid until the 10 minutes have
