The science of making dehydrated and powdered
soup mixes has been pursued by Knorr, Maggi, Lipton and other
companies with a great degree of success. In addition to popular
name brands, there is a cottage industry of dried soup makers that
offer great tasting soups. Keeping with our goal of providing
recipes for a group of three, we have adjusted the quantities to
provide a little more than one cup (8oz) per person. Below is a
brief list to help you plan a menu. When you are looking over soup
mixes at the store, check the calories, weight and preparation time.
Your cooking group will appreciate a hot soup that is served up
quick.
